Neal lived in Selma, Alabama really early on and moved to Hayneville, Alabama when he was about 10. He got into the restaurant business in 1992 after spending 8 long years in the grocery business that started when he was just 14 years old!

He was 22 when he got into the restaurant industry. His career started at the Fifth Quarter Steak House, which was where he got into serving first, and then moved into management. He was trained with The Fifth Quarter in Montgomery, Alabama and later in Nashville, Tennessee. He then moved on to work for Romano’s Macaroni Grille in Montgomery and was trained in Atlanta, Georgia.

He was hired by Bob Baumhower and company to work for Baumhower’s Wings in Montgomery where he stayed for 7 years before moving to the Daphne Wings location. He managed Baumhower’s Wings in Daphne for almost 3 years and was then offered a chance to move to the Tuscaloosa store. He has been in Tuscaloosa for 2 years now. He says he has met thousands of interesting people along the way, and feels very blessed to have had the opportunity to do the things he has done and see the things he has seen, especially with Baumhower’s.
