Richard “Dick” Turpin
Director of Service
Baumhower’s Wings of Tuscaloosa

While finishing school at Alabama, Dick worked in a local restaurant serving and bartending. After graduation, I moved to South Carolina where I worked in the trucking industry, in sales; and then in the High-Line car business, BMW, Jaguar, Lexus, serving as a sales-manager in new and pre-owned vehicles.

A need to move on caused him to call an old team-mate from Alabama, Bob Baumhower, and ask for an opportunity in his restaurants. In February of 2006 Dick moved back to Alabama and went to work at the Baumhower’s Wings Restaurant in Tuscaloosa, serving as Director of Hospitality and Café.

Dick feels it has been a terrific experience and one that he feels he is made for. He enjoys the work, the regular clientele and the staff that he works with.
