George has been working in the restaurant industry since he was 16 years old. He began working as a busboy during high school at Top ‘O the River in Anniston, Alabama. While he attended college, he waited tables and worked as an assistant manager there. After graduating college from Jacksonville State University with a degree in Management and Marketing, George went to work as a manager for Darryl’s Restaurants. After spending four years with Darryl’s, he went back to Top ‘O the River as General Manager. He has been a General Manager with Baumhower’s since 2002.

George is a native of Anniston, Alabama but currently calls Cornersville, Tennessee home where he lives with his wife, Teresa and their two teenage children. They are a mixed family, his wife is “Go VOLS!!” and the rest of the family is “ROLL TIDE!!!”
